i have a 40 year old day date. the movement has been changed a couple of times. I think the movement is eta. small hand sticking so I have fitted chinese movement from another watch. winder stem not comparable as chinese day date slightly larger diameter. tried cutting it. no joy. can you help please. chinese movement is good timekeeper. winder is thinner than original but 18k so need to keep. movement moving a bit. side holding plates may need altering.hope you can help. thanks. mike davies.
