i have an omega constellation chronometer automatic which I bought in 2007 at the duty free shop in singapore airport it has never had its back off. recently it has started stopping unless I manually wind it it also slightly loses time unless I keep it well wound up my guess is it needs cleaning. my local jeweller quoted a ridiculous price - half what I paid for it - to send it to omega for servicing id be happy to pay a reasonable price cash if that helps.
heyi have an old omega tank. works beautifully I recently tried to clean the mineral glass using polywatch a little bit went down the side and a single drop of water went into the face.is there a way you could remove the glass to see if you can remove the tiny amount of residue left by the water droplet?bestjack
