i took my wifes seiko solar watch it says on the back v116-0ac0 r2 277332 to a local jeweller for a new capacitor. he kept it and said he tried to fit it but had found the movement was damaged beyond repair. surprising because weve had it from new and it has never been impacted and never needed a new battery until now. he just charged me for the capacitor and gave it to me.i think doing the job was beyond him but if hes right could how much would it cost to replace? will email photos.
